We are pleased to announce that HULFT Square has passed the SOC 2 Type II assurance report evaluation, reinforcing our commitment to upholding high standards in information security and operational control for our cloud products.
SOC 2 Type II is an audit procedure developed by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) that examines an organization’s security controls over a sustained period. It is designed to thoroughly assess an organization’s systems and guarantee that vital oversight and processes are in place and functioning effectively.
The AICPA has defined three types of System and Organization Controls (SOC) reports: SOC 1, SOC 2, and SOC 3. The SOC 2 report scrutinizes explicitly a company’s information security measures based on the AICPA’s Trust Service Principles, which include security, availability, processing integrity, confidentiality, and privacy.
The external audit focused on the ‘security’ criterion for HULFT Square, a cloud-based data integration platform, resulting in a SOC 2 Type II report. This report indicates the presence of robust security controls and their effective operation from August 1, 2023, to July 31, 2024. The SOC 2 Type II report differs from a Type I report by examining controls’ applied effectiveness over time rather than their design at a single point.
Completing the SOC 2 Type II assurance report reflects the consistent application of HULFT Square’s designed controls throughout the audit period, demonstrating effectiveness and reliability. This report provides tangible evidence to clients and stakeholders that HULFT Square complies with one of the most stringent, industry-recognized security benchmarks.
For our clients and partners, this means a reassurance that the platform they rely upon for their data integration needs operates with an established and verified security framework.
