Introducing HULFT Square 2024.1

We’re pleased to announce the mid-year release of HULFT Square, our flagship cloud-based data integration solution. It enables businesses to manage, develop, integrate, and secure data and applications across any cloud or on-premise location. With streamlined API management and the ability to connect any data or enterprise application in any format or data location, HULFT Square enables faster workflow via intelligent recommendations that require less human intervention, and this accelerates the process of cloud migration with dozens of connectors and integration components to crucial AWS services like Amazon S3, Redshift, RDS, Aurora, Kinesis, EMR, and SageMaker.

What’s New in 2024.1 Edition

Since the launch of HULFT Square a year ago, our team has been focused on satisfying our customers’ growing list of feature requests.

With the 2024.1 release, we are offering new native applications. Applications can be created and shared. Created applications can be shared and reused as templates or backups.

In addition, file transfers from outside to HULFT Square can be received by an SFTP server and stored in storage. Using HULFT Square functions, triggers such as file event jobs and data linkage processing can also be implemented.

Below are more of the highlights of the new HULFT Square release.

Additional Google Big Query functionality. In the Google BigQuery Connector’s “Search SQL Execution Processing,” an option has been added to output the results of a SELECT statement to an output schema and pass them on to subsequent processing in a data flow. Data linkage functions to subsequent processing have been improved to facilitate data utilization, including analysis and data visualization, according to business applications.

Storage operation log. User operation logs for HULFT Square storage can now be viewed. The system allows administrators to check user operations’ trails, helping to prevent information leaks and strengthen internal controls.

It extended application trigger conditions. The “Application Function,” which allows scripts to be distributed as easily reusable packages, enables the creation of applications triggered by REST API jobs or file event jobs. This automates data linkage and improves operational efficiency with portable applications for various applications and conditions.

HULFT Square Case Studies

Nissin is a Japan-based company principally engaged in manufacturing and selling instant foods, such as instant noodles. Focusing on data-driven management through 2030, the team needed a highly reliable and flexible data integration and analysis platform.

After considering many alternatives, Nissin chose HULFT Square for three reasons:

  • The ability to easily integrate old data scattered throughout the company and new data collected.
  • Saison Technology’s abundant experience in data integration services and knowledge, as well as a proven track record.
  • Trust that they would not only receive world-class data integration technology but also have our company’s continued partnership and expertise to help the company further build the data integration infrastructure.

By implementing HULFT Square, Nissin has a modern, adaptive application infrastructure that enables the company to create global-scale data integration and data analysis. Download the entire case study [here].

HULFT Square is also the data integration solution for TradeWaltz, a blockchain-based trade-specific intercompany communication platform. TradeWaltz began a long-term effort started in 2017 by NTT DATA of Japan, which created a trade consortium of 13 leading Japanese companies engaged in trade operations, such as shippers, banks, insurers, and carriers, to build a trade information platform using blockchain technology. After five years of development and many achievements, Saison Technology connects the global trading platform with dozens of major trading partners. Trade Waltz relies on HULFT Square to help its customers and partners dramatically shorten the time and effort it takes to integrate application program interfaces (APIs) between their systems and the TradeWaltz platform, resulting in an end-to-end fully digital trading exchange.

TradeWaltz released its first commercial platform version in April 2022. Today, it has over 60 customers, including Fujifilm Logistics, Mitsubishi Corporation Fashion, Nippon Steel Trading Corporation logistics companies, AIT Corporation and Nissin Corporation.
